Western Springs

 

The Village of Western Springs is known for its hometown charm and family friendly vibe. Easily recognizable by the historic water tower on the Tower Green, located in the heart of its downtown. Running through the center of downtown is the newly renovated train station with quick access to the city for local commuters. The downtown offers plenty of dining and shopping options. In the summer months, residents enjoy the Sunday French Market and annual Gathering on the Green which is a fun filled evening of food, beverages, live music, entertainment and activities for the kids. In addition to the downtown shopping and dining opportunities, Western Springs is also home to Garden Market shopping plaza.

The Village maintains over 80 acres of land and several neighborhood parks offering sports programs and classes sponsored by the Western Springs Park District. Other attractions include the Thomas Ford Library and the Theater of Western Springs. The Theater hosts a variety of classes and summer camps as well as performances for children and adults alike!

Homes in Western Springs offer a mixture of single-family homes as well as condominiums and townhomes. Western Springs is known for its individual neighborhoods within the town. Each centered around top notch elementary schools and middle schools. Students attend top rated Lyons Township High School, which has two campuses.

The Village is less than 30 minutes from both airports and less than 22 minutes from Chicago by train.
